Because sometimes, I forget to write reviews.
Or I don’t know what to say that a million others haven’t already said.
Or I didn’t like it and I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.
Or I won’t do it justice.

His Bloody Project, by Graeme Macrae Burnet
I didn’t quite know how to review this one. I got through the first half hoping that, once we got to the trial, we’d get the good stuff. But then the book ended and nothing really happened. It’s not a bad read, but I think I didn’t quite ‘get’ it.
After Alice, by Gregory Maguire
I listened to the audiobook of this and I honestly think that’s what made me so indifferent. The narrator’s voice grated and the book dragged on…and on…and on.
There was a decent concept, but maybe read the book instead.
Swing Time, by Zadie Smith
Love. Love. LOVE. That’s it. Just love.
The Loney, by Andrew Michael Hurley
A bit of a disappointment. I know I should like it. I just didn’t. None of my questions were answered – what actually happened? Why did he start talking? WHAT DID HE DO?!
Or maybe they did get answered and I just didn’t get it.
It’s probably me.
It’s a great cover though <3.
