1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die

1001-books-you-must-read-before-you-dieI love lists: reading lists, to-do lists – generally anything that you can tick off and get a sense of achievement from, I love.

Peter Boxall’s 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die is, put quite simply, the mother of all book lists. As soon as I saw this, I thought I must 1. See how many I’ve read; and 2. Attempt to read them all. Granted; the chance of me finishing this list is slim to none; but I can guarantee I’ll love ticking off each book from it.

This list has been taken from the 2012 edition; all the books I’ve read are in bold and I’ve linked to those I’ve reviewed. I’ve read 15 so far (shameful, I know); hopefully I can drastically increase that number this year!
