May TBR

MayTBRIt is the month of my birth (26 this year – aarggh!) and the birth of about 6 other friends (what is it about May and babies?!). It will also be my first full month at work, and my first full month at my new flat. A lot of firsts, apparently. This means that I will have a ton of work-related reading to do; lots of birthday shenanigans to go to and a lot of hangovers to deal with. Sigh, isn’t life hard?

The only thing this month doesn’t seem to include is time for personal reading. I’m too scared to list a long TBR in case I don’t get through it all. So I will be frugal with my choices and make (hopefully) achievable targets.

The Classic:

D.H. Lawrence – Lady Chatterley’s Lover

The TBR Jar:

Mark Zusak – The Book Thief

Others:

Jonas Jonasson – The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed out of The Window and Disappeared
Steve Camden – Tape
Stella Gibbons – Cold Comfort Farm

Four seems a do-able amount? If I include all my work-reading, it’ll add up to six, maybe seven books. That’s OK right? right? RIGHT?!

As always – wish me luck!
